4th of July Weekend

Ian & I went to Lake Wenatchee State Park for the 4th of July weekend with a good friend of Demmari's from high school (thanks to facebook). We were so glad to be invited by Leah and had a fantastic time! Here are camping photos as well as a day trip that we took to Leavenworth on the 4th.

Good times with Aunt Dem

We visited Aunt Dem earlier in the week while Scott was out of town. She was nice enough to watch all three kids while I did a couple sales calls, which is great practice for her as she is expecting twins in the Spring.

We did an afternoon trip to the Pumpkin Patch in Hillsboro that had a train ride to the pumpkins and a boat ride back. It was quite a great time for only $4.

Visit to Monterey

My Mom, myself, Ian, & Hannah all flew down to Monterey to visit my brother & his family. The visit was so much fun! We went to the beach, the amazing Monterey Aquarium, did a lot of walking around town, and ate yummy food.

We're looking forward to the Hansen Crew's visit to Seattle next year!

Hansee's Boat

We met up with Hansee and Nana at Penrose Point State Park for our annual visit on their sailboat. We had so much fun hanging out on the boat and on the beach. We even took the kids out on the dingy and ziped around the bay looking at the cute homes and the creepy Lakebay Marina.

Camping

This was our annual family work weekend, turned vacation weekend. The families are really busy these days, and most were unable to attend. We choose a nearby campground on the Hood Canal called Twanoh State Park and me and the kids along with Hansee headed down there Thursday and Chi joined us Friday evening. We had a great time just hanging out, going down to the beach to throw rocks and oyster shells into the water, and hiking the trails.

Sadly we ended up leaving a day early because we got rained out and were not prepared for inclement weather.
