Too much love

I took the kids to Bainbridge island last week for some fun. This photo series from the ride over totally crack me up.

Free time

I'm taking some time off so I can enjoy summer with the kids. It's great!

No illusions

This is not an optical illusion, this actually Ian, shirt and boot free, enjoying the sun and water.

Camping memories

The teardrop trailer is the basis of many of my camping memories and it makes me happy to be able to impart similar memories to Ian and Hannah. Dad and I restored it five years ago and we've taken it camping at least once each summer. I couldn't imagine camping without it.



Other must have activities include a nightly fire and ice cream daily. I vividly remember enjoying bubble gum ice cream at the local grocery store and eating it by the columbia river.

There is a soft serve place at the lake's general store, but today we went into Chelan for the good stuff.





The final must for camping is a lot of cribbage play. Unfortunately, I was so busy with all of the kids I never had the time to just sit and play. Oh well, there's always next time...
