It’s no secret, I love my neighborhood. Today, the sun was shining so I took the kids on a walk through the hood.
First stop was the new Georgetown Music Store which is in the former Georgetown Pharmacy location. The place was amazing with lots of new and vintage instrument, including tons of guitars and drums. I have a feeling we’ll be visiting here often
There is a local drum school that I think would be perfect for Ian.
Hannah was “patiently” waiting her turn.
She did great & I have video that I’m not able to upload for some reason. Then we continued our walk and the owner of the coffee shop we walked by kindly gave the kids suckers, yet another reason I love this neighborhood, kind people.
On the way back home we stopped under one of my favorite trees in the neighborhood. It’s a flowering cherry, but the blooms are white, and the trunk is old and climbs up over the walkway.
Blue lips.
There is an open lot where the Rainier Cold Storage Building used to be, so when we got home, we had lunch, then loaded up the car with Ian’s scooter and Hannah’s ladybug for it’s first appearance outside the house. The kids were loving ridding around and sadly, the adventure didn’t last long because I realized the kids were in their good shoes, and they were ruining them.
They had a blast while it lasted..
Of course one last photo first before we head home…
