All moved in

Today was our last day at the old office, and so we’re officially all moved into our new space.

Here’s a little tour.

My office, though I don’t like the set up.  It has some serious feng shui issues that need to be addressed.

Movin’ on up

The ad agency Chi’s been subleasing from is “going virtual,” thus leaving us without an office space.  We hunted quickly for a new space and found one just a couple buildings down.  We’re on the third floor looking out over first avenue in Pioneer Square.

The space is filled with West & South windows, so we get amazing light.

We spent the past few days, getting phone lines moved, painting, moving, and painting some more.  Most of that we statement was actually done by Chi.  Great job babe!  We finally have a fantastic office of our very own.

Did the Puyallup

We did the Spring fair on Friday with Sara and her kids.  We had so much fun riding rides and checking out the sheep, horses, cows, and ponies.

The September fair is a lot larger,  but I prefer this smaller Spring fair for me & the kids.  Thank you Sara for joining us on a beautiful Spring day.

Ian is FIVE

Five, wow, five just hasn’t sunk in yet.

My baby boy isn’t a baby anymore, nor is he a little boy, he’s a big boy who is starting school this fall.  This will be an amazing summer fill with moments to remember.

Things that make me happy

There are many random things that make me feel good inside.  Among them are a latte first thing in the morning, the smell after a downpour, fresh cut flowers, the way everything looks at twilight, a good windstorm, especially at night, and a funny one that I discovered today, new bedding.

I love a freshly made bed, and I especially love soft new sheets.

I bought new sheets and a comforter today, and I’m cracking up at myself at how happy it made me.  Oh, the small pleasures…

Tiptoeing through the Tulip Fields

We headed to La Conner this past weekend to see the tulip fields in bloom.  With the Spring weather coming early this year, the timing for the trip turned out to be just right.

La Conner is a quant little town and the Inn we stayed at was perfect.  Our room had a fireplace and the Inn was in the center of town so we were able to walk to everything.  I couldn’t have asked for more.

We will certainly visit again.

I brought Hannah’s ladybug umbrella hoping for  a good photo opp.

She did good for a little while,

then she decided she was  done and just let go of her umbrella.  It went flying, rolling down the road in the wind.  Too funny!

I was hoping for a good Christmas card photo.  Definitely not it!
