Christmas Day

This was a busy day!  We spent the morning at home opening gifts and enjoying each other, then lunch at Nana’s followed by dinner at Ade’s.  It was a full day, but wonderful to focus on what is important. Family.

A Christmas to Remember

This was an amazing Christmas!  The kids were very aware that Christmas was coming and were very excited to see their cousins throughout the holiday.

We spent Christmas Eve at my Grandma Lillian’s house with the Hansen Cousins.  It was so great seeing everyone and catch up.

Special Day with Ian

Ian and I went to see the Nutcracker today thanks to Grammy. We had a great time, though Ian got pretty anxious near the end.

After, we headed over to Dick’s for some greasy food then to Sur la Table to get me a Spring-Form Pan for my first ever Cheesecake.

You will notice some style changes to the blog in the future.  My techie hubby just set me up with Windows Live Writer to manage the blog.

Cookies

We're doing a cookie exchange today with six other ladies, so hopefully, I'll come home with some yummy cookies. I made my Grandma Davis' delicious Molasses Cookies, though I modified her recipe a little.

Christmas Came Early

My wonderful hubby spoiled me with a fantastic new digital camera. We were playing with it last night & enjoying all of it's great features.

My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard...

I have to take a moment to share my love for Hannah's hair product, Curly Q's Milkshake by Curls. It's specially formulated for "multi-ethnic hair." That's a term I pulled from their site, but I kinda like it.

Anyway, the problem is that every morning when I put it in her hair, I find myself singing this:

We got Annie

Hannah is in love with the movie Annie and enjoys singing Tomorrow any chance she gets. As a Birthday surprise, I'm getting tickets for me and her to go together.

I can't wait to go with her!
